Flash not working in Ubuntu 9.04 (Jaunty Jackalope)

I installed Ubuntu 9.04 AMD64. Unfortunately, flash refused to work in Firefox and Konqueror. The fix…

$ sudo apt-get remove --purge flashplugin-* $ sudo apt-get remove --purge swfdec-mozilla swfdec-gnome mozilla-plugin-gnash gnash $ sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

    Just wanted to say thank You! I’ve been having this problem for days now, but now it’s ok. The biggest problem in my case was “swfdec” which messed all flash-files. So, thanks again!
